Another good weekend. Friday night we tried out a new frozen yogurt place -- very yummy! Back at home, Colton got his first mowhawk. Proud Mom that I am, I took a picture of my handywork.
Tyler had gym class Saturday morning. Class ended with a medal ceremony for the kids, just like the olympics, complete with a podium and olympic music. Jeff says it was really cute. He didn't have a camera with him, so here's a picture we took at home. Tyler is very proud of his medal and has continued to wear it through the weekend, even taking it to bed with him!
As the morning went on we realized Tyler was getting pretty sick. Runny, gooey nose, crabby, sensitive, tired, and you could hear the congestion in his voice. We had a family BBQ to go to for his playgroup. I was disappointed thinking we couldn't go, but Jeff suggested that Colton and I go and he'd stay home with Tyler. So that's what we did, and Colton and I had a great time. I'm so happy we went. I love our playgroup! Here's a picture Jenny, the host, took of Colton playing with her daughter Samantha, who will be 1 in a few weeks.
Not long after we got home, Colton and I crashed on the couch. Apparently Jeff took a picture, which I discovered this morning when I went to upload the others. Now here it is already Sunday. Tyler and I are supposed to get together with my friend Heather and her son, Leland, for a playdate, but with Tyler being sick, it looks like we'll be staying home. Colton had a stuffy nose through the night and a runny nose this morning. Let's hope he's not getting it, too!
