The day after Tyler's superhero party was Father's Day. We treated Jeff to some sleep by letting him sleep in until he decided to get out of bed at 9. When he woke up, Colton was napping, so we had presents with Tyler. Jeff was happy with his new shirts and the picture frame the boys made him at playgroup. We went to Chevy's for lunch, and then to Home Depot and Lowe's. Jeff wanted to work in the yard, and of course Tyler wanted to help. In all we had a really great day. The boys and I gave Jeff a card with a picture of a dad and son walking along, with the son in a superhero cape (just like Tyler!). Inside it said, "not all superheroes wear capes." We are thankful for Jeff and all he brings to our family. He is our superhero!
I want to wish Happy Father's Day to my own Dad, too. We weren't able to be together this year, but I was thinking of you all day! I am really looking forward to being able to be together for Father's Day next year. Love you! Thank you for being such a great dad!!!
