Folsom run with nature
Today I ran the Folsom Run with Nature 5k with my friend Mabel. It was a beautiful trail, but the weather was way too hot for running, and the sun was beating directly down onto us almost the whole time. I had music with me this time, so that helped keep me going, but man was I thirsty! The little water station cups just weren't enough. But we worked it out, and are proud to have crossed yet another finish line. Jeff and the boys met us afterward, as did Mabel's husband Roger and their kids Leila and William. It was a fun morning! Great job, Mabel! Let's do it again soon.

Way to go girls! I bet it was a scorcher. I had to wait until after 9pm to run last night...hotsy totsy! I agree, music does make a HUGE difference. I got an ipod for mother's day and it is so empowering :)
It sure was a hot yet fun day. Thanks, Kel, for all your motivation. I had fun and let's do it again, absolutely.
