At the store last night I couldn't find the sweet potatoes anywhere. I walked around the produce department a few times. Eventually, right by the regular potatoes (who would've thought?), I saw the sign for sweet potatoes and looked down to see these monsters. I had seen them before but hadn't considered that these giant things were actually the sweet potatoes. I have a soup recipe that calls for 4 medium sweet potatoes, and I don't think I'll even need to use a whole one of these to have enough for my soup. Here's Tyler modeling them for me to show a perspective on how big they really are - almost as big as his head!!
