Other years that we have not traveled to visit family for Thanksgiving, I have cooked a huge feast at home. This year with us having been so busy lately, we decided to keep things simple and go out for Thanksgiving. I have to say it was the perfect thing for us this year. I made us an appetizer and a pumpkin pie, and then we all enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner at Black Angus steakhouse. It really was fun!
That night we began decorating for Christmas...
...And then browsed the Black Friday shopping ads.
We had a very happy Thanksgiving, and we hope that you did, too!

Happy belated Thanksgiving! Eating out is brilliant. We've done that a couple of times with no regrets.
