I just finished my first-ever quilts. I made quilts for Tyler & Colton from their old receiving blankets, and added in some extra, solid-color fabric to brighten them up. Jenny, a playgroup friend, gave me the pattern and instruction. I couldn't have done it without her teaching me along the way. The quilts are far, far, FAR from perfect, especially since I made up "my own way" of finishing the edges (yeah...I'm definitely a beginner). But I guess that's some of the charm. I know the boys are too little to care right now, but maybe someday they'll appreciate these, and maybe someday, now that I know more of what I'm doing, I can try again.

Good Job you domestic queen.
I am surprised you did not make your stockings too...
Wow! Those are awesome Kel! Can you make me one too? I'm a lil jealous of the boys! Very cool!
Oh Kelly, those are great! I really really wish I could have gone and learned how to make those. Maybe one day, when I have time I can. (free time?? what's that??) ; )
great job again, the boys are lucky!
Wow, Kelly, I'm so impressed by you! The quilts look great and I think it's awesome that you have the motivation to tackle something so difficult!
