It WAS a good day

Ok, ok...so my last post was a bit negative. I was tired (well, I still am...), what can I say? But despite that, today was a good day. Here are some of the great things about today...

- Tyler was being such a good big brother. Colton was fussing while I was making dinner, so Tyler brought him his buzz lightyear toy to play with and said, "It's ok, Tin. Here, play buzz."
As I was getting Tyler set up with his dinner, Colton was getting impatient, and Tyler said, "It's ok, Tin. I'm up here." (Imitating me when I say, "It's ok, Colton, I'm right here," when he thinks I've left the room.) It was cute.

- Tyler still loves to feed Colton and was feeding him tonight, making his spoon an airplane. I really think it got Colton more interested in his dinner, which he really seemed to enjoy tonight, happily slurping it off the spoon.

- Tyler is doing awesome with his potty training, and I was especially proud of him today for being so on top of it and for being able to hold it for longer periods of time. At home he tells us when he needs to go for #1 and #2. He's been waking up dry from naps and bedtime, and has only had two accidents in the last couple of weeks. Both times we were at a park and he was too interested in playing to come tell me he needed to go. I learned my lesson that I need to watch him closer for his cues.

- I got a nap in this afternoon, and even got some stuff done around the house and started cutting fabric for the quilt I'm going to make. (Yes, I'm going to attempt to make a quilt! It's going to be very simple - my first quilt ever - but I'm going to try!)

- And now...both boys are sound asleep, leaving Jeff and I a peaceful evening. :)

Glad you had a good day. William refused to take a bottle at 11mo. and didn't take them again 2mo. later. I think I gave him, by accident, a bad milk, 'cause I remember him making this face (like you had something sour) when I was feeding him. After that incident, he refused the bottle. Now he's back and we're both happy.
