When we moved into our house in California, our bathroom walls were a dark turquoise, and the toilet area a medium blue. This was one of the first things Jeff wanted to change ASAP. Well, we did a lot of other projects first, and just got around to the bathroom within the last few weeks, and I just finished touch-up today. (It takes awhile to finish projects around here with two kiddos!) The new color is a stone-khaki color with just a hint of green, and our toilet area is now a creamy neutral. Maybe it's not quite as "exciting" as the turquoise and blue, but it definitely is much, much more soothing and easy on the eyes. I joked to Jeff as we were painting that I could "see the light at the end of the turquoise." I think I may be the only one who found it humorous. :) Take a gander...

After (this picture looks way more green than it actually is...)

After (This pic is very true to the actual colors, not sure why the first one looks so green.)
Next project, paint the bedroom! (Then paint the cabinets, tile floors, etc., etc., etc...the list goes on!)

Some people love different colors, but I'm such an earthtone girl. Looks great. You constantly amaze me with everything you do.
