A playgroup friend, Jenny, hosted a moms' night out at her house last night where we all completed a sewing project. It was a lot of fun! Jenny had all the fabrics cut and ready to go. We just had to pick out which fabrics to use and sew it all together. With the help of her expertise, we all turned out some really cute pillows! I love doing stuff like this and feeling like I've accomplished something. And it's fun to have something cool to show for the work. I am quite proud of my pillow. Check it out! :)
Tyler liked it, too. He was awake when I got home, and when I showed it to him and told him I made it, he immediately wanted to snuggle with it. He's been having trouble going to sleep lately, so I let him take it to bed with him. It was the best night's sleep he's had in days!

'Looks like Tyler loved the pillow too. I can see Santa making the boys "cuddle" pillows for her boys....hehehe... (or should I say...HOHOHOHO!!!??????)

I soooooo wish I had that creative gene like you and mom! I have GREAT ideas, but not the patience nor the talent to make sure it all turns out right! Maybe we can do some "crafts" next summer!?!?!?!?!
